According to Hollywood Reporter, Matthew Macfadyen will co-star alongside his former P&P co-star Donald Sutherland and Rufus Sewell in Ken Follett's 'Pillars of the Earth.'
Donald Sutherland takes the role as Bartholomew and Matthew Macfadyen ("Frost/Nixon") as Prior Philip."Pillars" starts filming June 22nd in Hungary and Austria. The premiere is set for the second half of 2010.
The series is going to be produced by brothers Ridley and Tony Scott. Ridley Scott is currently directing and producing Robin Hood, which MM is also currently working on as the Sheriff of Nottingham due out next year!
