Arrivals - September 2016

Ok folksickles, I had a thought to have a new "column" in here that I'll be calling Arrivals and Departures which is essentially a two-parter that will happen monthly (or as applies). Departure blogs will contain items that aren't empties but that are going to be given away for one reason or another.

1. Fall 2016 Fortune Cookie Soaps Box: I actually got this at the end of August but completely blanked on including it in "arrivals" and have used up/thrown away a majority of the products, I apologize. I wanted to try these out because so many people on Youtube rave about them. To be honest I feel kind of underwhelmed by this, it's alright but I'm not going nuts for it. This season's theme is The Princess Bride and I will list what the box included below:

2.  Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs: You guys know I always rave about these scrubs so I picked up more, I got the following scents:
Firming Italian Mocha

Moroccan Rose
Marula & Jasmine

3.Tree Hut Shea Moisturizing Epsom Salts in Tropical Mango - I have recently fell in love with Epsom salts because they reduce swelling and soothe achy feet so I figured, to get free shipping on walmart.com I'd give these a try.

4. Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Just Peachy 903C: Tati always raves about this color in particular, she has been raving about it for years (I've been watching her older videos) so like... I needed another $1 worth of merch to hit free shipping, this was $2... I figured I'd get it. It looks like a pretty nude peach tone.

5. Tree Hut Foot Cream in Aloe & Peppermint: This is another thing I decided to try out since I needed to rack up free shipping - it's ridiculous to me that I was able to get 6 scrubs, foot cream, 3 lbs of epsom salt, and lipstick all for $55 but hey... yay. In any case, this smells and feels really refreshing and really has been a big help in helping my feet go from crusty to silky in the week I've used it thus far. I'm excited to keep using it.

6. NYX Ombre Blushes: Ever since I purchased and fell in love with Soft Flush I wanted to try the other colors out as well, I picked up:

7. Anastasia Beverly Hils Moonchild Glow Kit - This is so ethereal and magical and I obviously had to have it, it's very mermaid-esque with it's iridescent colorful shades and light play. I also really like that it's colorful, no surprise there.

8. Chaos Makeup Kaleidoscope Highlighter: I am weak. I finally gave in and bought one of these rainbow highlight deals. In truth, I've been following Megan Martinez - the person behind Chaos Makeup/Chaos Makeup Artist since 2010 and knew she was working on eyeshadows and highlighters or just... multi-use makeup items back toward maybe 2011 or 2012. I found this by chance on Instagram and once I saw the packaging and how pretty the swatches were I really wanted to have it in my arsenal. It's so pretty. Plus I mean, who can resist the seashell packaging?

9. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick: I picked up Sad Girl and Paint - the two shades I've been lusting over since last year. I really dig them both.

10. Sugarpill Kimchi Liquid Lip Color: I mean... I love Sugarpill, I love Kimchi, I love lavender lips... this was kind of a no-brainer. I needed it.
