Innoxa LE Radiant Orchid Satin Sheen Lipstick* Review and Swatch

If you have been reading Born to Buy lately, you may have noticed that I'm having a bit of a love affair with cool toned pink/purple lip colours (in fact, the love is so real that one of my most recent blog posts was all about my favourite cool toned pink/purple lip colours and it can be found here). One lipstick that I mentioned in that post is a recent love of mine, Innoxa's Limited Edition Radiant Orchid Satin Sheen Lipstick*, and I honestly could not go another day without telling y'all about this amazing lip colour! Yes, the love is that real.

As the name suggests, Innoxa Limited Edition Radiant Orchid Satin Sheen Lipstick* is inspired by Pantone's Colour of the Year, Radiant Orchid. Radiant Orchid has tones of fuchsia, purple and pink, creating a super cool toned/purple that I think is absolutely amazing for the lips. Innoxa' has managed to capture this lip colour so perfectly and, as such, they have released a lip colour that I predict to be really 'big' this spring/summer. I know I'm already recommending it to everyone and not because I was sent it!

I only have one other Satin Sheen lipstick from Innoxa and it has a super frosty, borderline metallic, finish that I'm really not fond (nothing to do with the formula, I just don't like that finish) so I am really glad to report that the Innoxa Limited Edition Radiant Orchid Satin Sheen Lipstick* has a cream finish. As you can see from the swatch above, this lipstick is really nicely pigmented. Both the arm and lip swatch photos were taken after just one application to reflect the true level of pigmentation and I am rally impressed!

I am told that the Satin Sheen lipsticks from Innoxa contain hyaluronic filing spheres to reduce the appearance of ageing lips and, whilst I cannot vouch for that necessarily, I can say that this lipstick is incredibly comfortable to wear and very moisturising. It is not at all drying and, given the super hydrating formula, I am impressed that it gives me 3-4 hours wear without me feeling like I need to reapply.

If you thought about pick up MAC's Dodgy Girl lipstick from the Sharon & Kelly Osbourne Collection but didn't because 1. You weren't willing to pay the $$ or 2. You aren't a fan of a matte finish, get all over this lip colour. It is very similar in colour (as you can see from swatches in this post) but a lot easier and far more comfortable to wear. The Innoxa Limited Edition Radiant Orchid Satin Sheen Lipstick* will retail for $14.95 and be available from all Innoxa stockists later this month.

What do you think of cool toned pink/purple lips? Will you be picking this lipstick up?
